I have posted this idea for a Bookshare member who isn't able to fill out the form.
This issue stems from the behavior of many Bookshare members and how we do our downloading. When new books come through, we download the books when we see them so we won't miss them or forget them later. It's especially necessary to do this since PQ books aren't categorized and thus aren't easy to locate again unless you know the exact title. This means that we often hit our download limit when many new books are added to the site, situations like this week's addition of so many PQ books. I would imagine that Bookshare tech support gets a lot of download limit requests when PQ books are added.
Would Bookshare consider creating an account add-on or premium yearly account type with a higher download limit for each 30 day period? Members could choose to pay for this plan, and Bookshare staff wouldn't need to handle as many reset requests.
